Dovecote Park awarded A+* grade at BRC audit

We are delighted to announce that Dovecote Park were awarded an A+ grade at our recent unannounced BRC audit on August 3rd.
We are delighted to announce that Dovecote Park were awarded an A+* grade in our recent unannounced British Retail Consortium audit, which took place on the 3rd August. BRC Global Standards is a leading third party food standards authority developed by food industry experts which operates in over 100 countries, and has to date certified over 15,000 suppliers across the world. BRC rolled out Global Standards Issue 7 in January, which now sets the benchmark by which food production facilities are audited. Issue 7 maintains the emphasis placed by BRC on good manufacturing standards, and places a stronger focus on traceability and transparency throughout the supply chain.

Peter Boyes, Technical Director, stated of the result, ‘We were challenged last year by Waitrose to be audited on an unannounced basis for our annual food safety and quality BRC audit. We are pleased to say that the audit was completed in the first week of August and we achieved an A+ grade.
The unannounced audit option does mean a change in how we operate and the facility now has an ‘audit ready’ approach to ensure that all our systems can be challenged at any time and operating practices are maintained consistently. It is a great testament to the all the teams at Dovecote Park and their hard work that we have achieved this standard.’

Dovecote Park are extremely proud to have achieved such a high standard, and would like to express gratitude to all of our staff who work tirelessly to ensure our facilities are maintained to the highest possible standard and our products meet the highest measures of food safety.
