Dovecote Park were highly honoured to see our very own joint chief executive David Gunner take home the Meat Management Excellence Award at the Meat Management 2014 awards on June 4th.

The Excellence award is given annually to an executive or senior manager who has made an outstanding contribution to the meat industry. On receiving the award, David stated, ‘I am both surprised and delighted, and accept this prestigious award on behalf of everyone at Dovecote Park, because it reflects the achievements of all their hard work.’

Nearly 400 guests attended the prestigious event – nicknamed the ‘Meat Oscars’ - at London’s Grand Connaught Rooms. 16 awards were given in total, voted on by readers of Meat Management magazine and judged by independent industry experts. Footballing legend Sir Geoff Hurst presented the winners with prizes and certificates.
